Inaugurated in 1994, the Leadville Trail 100 is held annually on trails and dirt roads at high altitude west and south of Leadville, Colorado and through the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
A difficult course with steady climbs and descents of over 14,000 feet with elevations ranging from 10,200 to 12,600 feet.
The Leadville Trail 100 Project is about my journey to compete in the 2010 edition as well as a repository for knowledge gained about endurance mountain biking over the course of this journey.
